Ale Paul: To Humanize the letter
May 30, 2008

As the first activity in the Biennial of Latin Types 2008 Ecuador, Ale Paul came to demonstrate why he leads the new generation of Latin-American tipologists. It was an illustrative conference where we learned to use the letter in a detailed and original way in commercial design.
The content of his presentation was composed of a chronology of his work, the sources of investigation that inspire him to design his alphabets and a wide portfolio of examples of applications of his typographies in publications and products around the world.
In Guayaquil the event took place in the MAAC, in Quito in the Cultural Center of Universidad Catoloica. It was organized by Grafitat and Jaime Nuñez del Arco. The conference lasted two hours in each city.
